About me

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Antioch University. I have experience both in community mental health and private practice in a variety of settings, and have been serving a wide range of clients for fifteen years.  I also have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, and am now enjoying my second career, interweaving my love of all things creative into my practice.

I enjoy serving a diverse population, and have worked with individuals and couples with a history of depression, loss and grief, anxiety-related disorders, family of origin/attachment wounds, and life transitions.

therapy approach

My therapeutic perspective includes working in a psychodynamic framework with an existential influence. To me, this means to help my clients work in-depth through their past while being present in the here and now, and helping them realize their potential to live a more authentic and meaningful life.

Along with this, my role is to help facilitate healing through the use of therapeutic tools that are appropriate and unique to the individual. I enjoy working with individuals and couples — and meeting each situation from a place of compassion and curiosity to determine the very best approach. I look forward to exploring your unique story with you and  moving toward growth and healing.
